Physical Appearance
⌠At a Glance⌡: The elezen looks on par with most standard Duskwight, however, upon closer inspection, one can see the smaller, more refined details that isolates him into something more unique. When visible, his extremities are much darker, and blackish-blue veins course just beneath the surface of his skin.⌠General⌡: Junius is a strikingly tall elezen of dark grey flesh and light ashen hair with white or teal streaks. On all accounts, he is athletically fit and toned, notably someone who once took particular care of himself despite his current disposition. Those who knew him prior to his death would reflect upon a rather stately individual of immaculate appearance which seems to have stayed despite his condition of being undead.The elezen is hardly ever seen outside of a suit or long coat, usually of ebon color and made from fine leather or linen. He takes extreme pride in his appearance and hygiene which speaks more for himself than his personality. At a glance, one can tell he is very articulate about his style and comforts; everything must be made to match accordingly, sparing very little for any deviations. (On occasion, he may dress in a more casual and relaxed attire, but it is rare to see that.)One of his more striking features are his elongated canines and pointed teeth which is likely a mutation of his condition or the magic that caused such. His smooth visage has also led others to question what methods he uses to keep himself appearing pristine. On the outside, there are no visible signs of decay, likely due to a strong stasis spell of Void ingenuity. The insides, however, are a completely different story. Someone or something went through great lengths to keep the elezen lovingly perfectly preserved.⌠Distinguishing Marks⌡: A visible scar along his left cheek and brow. A minor scar along his right cheek. When sleeveless, he has a long and winding tattoo of a Baalzephon/Persona *(EE, pg. 297)* wrapped around his entire right arm, up to his neck.⌠Usual Accessories⌡:

● An enchanted sword and focus ripe of Void magic. (Uncommonly seen.)
● An ancient Mhachi grimoire lined with strange runic markings. (Often seen.)

It is said that Junius’ bile is worse than his bite, oft spitting venomous words of blunt truths many fail to acknowledge as their own misgivings. This unsavory bitterness is likely a layered mechanism to keep people away from him, albeit those who are exceptionally close to the former medicus know exactly what is required to temper the man’s repugnant and callous personality.Since his untimely demise and rebirth at the hands of a clever accomplice, his rough temperament has diminished greatly, though he is often more quiet and reserved than anything else.Personal Details

⌠The Void Taketh... and Keepeth...⌡: It is said that necromancy is heavily tied to the Void - a malignant, destitute realm of monstrosities and absent of aether. Junius himself has never been a stranger to such contacts, thus it is likely the essence that keeps him so perfectly preserved.Due to this distorted amalgamation of physical and aetheric corruption, he can be easily sensed by those with a talent for such. His own twisted magic is frightfully wild and chaotic. (This is an easy to establish connection for anyone who is sensitive to corrupted magic/aether. Further details pertaining to his powers to be discovered via RP.)⌠Mhach Like a Tree and Leave⌡: Due to his extensive knowledge of Mhach and the history therein, he seems to attract those who wish to study necromancy and the Void. However, he vehemently discourages talking about how he obtained such information. He has also been mentioned in Void Hunter circles as a creature capable of exorcising and entrapping fellow Voidkin. (This is an easy to establish connection for anyone who spends time around the Arrzaneth Ossuary/Thaumaturges' Guild and seeks to study the Void.)⌠Breaking Bad⌡: Prior to his death, he was a dedicated man of science - a former medicus, alchemist, and aetherogeneticist. Now, he is a peddler of narcotic wares - a dealer. High purity, high quality. He's got what you need if you got the gil. If you see him in the Quicksands, assume he has something to sell. That said, it is possible to have seen him at the Alchemists' Guild, but for different reasons. (The easiest interaction/introduction if your character has a habit or wants to know more.)⌠Aetheric Feast⌡: Like many others, Junius can sense aetheric energies and disturbances in people and creatures. He has also offered to purge any malefic corruptions - but at a cost. If he spots someone radiating particularly high degrees of aether, he may approach to investigate further. Or sate his hunger. (Though he may sniff out your character's aether, Junius is not guaranteed to approach; he is very fastidious of potential victims. PM if you want a walk-up, but don't be surprised if he declines.)Looking for

Why anyone would want to be with an ashkin is beyond him. But if the interest is there, Junius' affection is something that remains behind closed doors. He can be obsessive, possessive, and can grow unpleasantly jealous. His loyalty and servitude goes beyond the grave, yet one should express and exercise extreme patience with a guiding hand given his insatiable need to snap his jaws and make threats to maim and kill. If one can gain his respect, they will find a doting ashkin to call their own. Good luck with that...

Mysterious as he is elegant and intriguing, Taavi Aldamu is an aetheric anomaly and someone that Junius has taken a strong devotion to. Ever close, their bond is solidified by familiarity and something more.They are rarely seen without each other, often conspiring together in dark corners or traveling to distant lands for research, leisure, or both. The support and love between the Hyur and the Ashkin is unwavering, and they caution letting others approach.⌠Other Complications -- er, "Friends"⌡:
- A fellow Garlean exile, Ranavos Abner. Former patient and now neighbors, they have some complicated history. Despite their endless bickering and teasing, they're actually good friends. (No, they're not a couple. They're just friends.)
- A strange, self-proclaimed Mhachi researcher named Hol'le Wilhelm. Rumored to be Juni's flatmate. He has gone missing since Junius' death and rebirth. Found deceased. Rumor has it Junius is still mourning the loss of his friend.
- Aras Abner (Ranavos' adopted daughter.) It's complicated. As her 'uncle', he's a bit protective of her, but also feels she needs to walk her own path and find her own sense of identity.
- Viridiana Sovani is the lead security officer and trusted associate of the Apothecarium. Junius finds her assertive and realistic views to be refreshing. After her run-in with a mutual enemy, Junius wonders if Viridiana will have the strength to take out this powerful foe.
- Vesevont Nevelaux and Puffy are tolerable, at best. Puffy's loudness is capable of giving the Ashkin a migraine. Junius feels a bit sorry for Vesevont, but as for anyone who toys with the Void, you reap what you sow.
- Tori Akaihana, the Apothecarium's lead botantist and sweetheart, is something of a pestering thorn in Junius' side. Despite his nice façade around her, he hopes she'll wizen up to the truths of the world: the brightest lights cast the longest shadows.
- Samayntha Cordwyk is a familiar face and can often be spotted near the Ashkin, most notably in Ul'dah. They seem to be a very unlikely duo, and their conversations are best kept to the shadows.
- Eleazar quo Macchus is a poetic soul who offers a sense of comfort in the form of familiar memories and times spent in the empire - a past Junius longs to relive, if vicariously.

Thanks for stopping by and reading Juni's profile. I hope you enjoyed browsing over this gutter-trash of a character. I've been playing Junius for several years and a tremendous deal of character development has happened throughout such time. If the concept of the character bothers you, the solution is simple: don't interact. If you like the character and have any questions about him or wish to interact, please feel free to message me in-game. I don't bite, but Junius does.⌠Preferences⌡:
- Walk-up RP: If the tag is on, feel free to approach. If I don't respond, message me. If you'd like Junius to approach, that can also be arranged, but please provide a valid reason or perk of interest for doing so. (If I do not respond, chances are I'm AFK for doggos or noms.)
- Style: Short-form in crowded, public venues, adaptive/mirror in quiet areas. Out of respect to other RPers, I don't like spamming unnecessarily large posts in already dense areas. Otherwise, I am adaptive and will usually match other emotes/styles.
- Themes: ✅Dark and gritty, authentic cut-throat, and mature themes are welcomed. Open world adventures and exploration is loved. Slice-of-life and idle socializing is also appreciated.
- 🛑Absolutely non-negotiable (AKA "Don't-fucking-ask-'cause-the-answer-is-NO") being: non-consensual, underage (of any kind), character-killing - out of the question, so don't bother.
- Conflict: If you're going to RP something that has no business existing, you should anticipate the IC consequences for the IC choices/actions made. This means if you RP as a full-fledged Voidsent and do not bother handling conflict or the idea of being attacked/maimed, I won't bother to RP with you. That said, communication is extremely vital, and only after OOC confirmation will I have my character contest or provoke action. Combat via Rolls only.
- Lore-bending: Totally okay with bending so long as it is supported by lore and makes sense. (Necromancy/sentient undead has always been a thing in XIV via side quests, raid bosses, and an MSQ dungeon. It does, in fact, exist. Deal with it. As of FanFest 2021, my character design and RP is 100% validated. Suck my big undead sack. :D)
- Romance?: If, for whatever fucking reason, you want to romance this character, I expect the potential partner to be 21 years of age or older, and someone that can respect my personal (OOC) boundaries.
